Support is being given to companies that are not regulated by the FDA as drug manufacturers in order to help them produce virus-curbing hand hygiene products

FDA to give US hand sanitiser manufacturers greater freedom during Covid-19 pandemic

The FDA has confirmed it does not intend to take legal action against manufacturers of hand sanitiser for consumer use during the coronavirus outbreak.
