Expac named as the highly commended company at the UK Packaging Awards
The presentation was held at the Hilton London on Wednesday 13th of November, Expac were among three other companies on a shortlist for the prestigious award.
The judges were impressed with the two major investment projects that Expac had completed during the past year and their continual growth within the industry. The judges described Expac as “an excellent business with strong focus and farsighted management”. A review of the top applicants was published following the event where the organisers explained that ‘Expac has gone from strength to strength both financially and operationally. Further investment has been made into the business since the factory relocation in early 2012, increasing the firm’s manufacturing facilities and amount of equipment on site. This included a bespoke alcohol filling plant. The judges praised Expac noting that its business performance is moving in a very positive direction and its making good progress on developing its facilities’.
