The new 50ml Licata jar is developed in collaboration with our partner Zignago Vetro and it represents the first true cosmetic "green set".
It is the first cosmetic jar in the world made with more than 75% post-consumer recycled glass. This percentage rises up to 90% including the post-production recycled glass too. It has the typical colour of the glass obtained by recycling the scraps from bottle banks.
The glass has a 99% shielding from UV radiation and its production allows a reduction of CO2 emissions up to 36%, compared to the production of the same item made of non-recycled transparent glass.
The jar perfectly combines with:
- Licata PP lid, 100% post industrial recycled
- Licata shive, 100% green PE.
The Licata jar and its accessories are now available in stock and they can be purchased in very small quantities.
This is a challenge we have been working on for some time and in which we strongly believe. We are convinced that: recycling model is the most ethical and environmentally sustainable and green is the ultimate colour for natural products.
