Eurofragance exceeds €38m in sales in 2011

Fragrance company grows by 18%


Eurofragance has announced a record sales growth of 18% reaching €38.3m in 2011, compared to €32.5m in 2010.

The Spanish company, headquartered in Rubí, Barcelona, is now set to invest €4.9m, or 13% of its sales, to enhance its internationalisation process. Sales outside the EU increased by 29% with the export volume of the fragrances divisions increasing by more than 32%.

Director general of Eurofragance, Santiago Sabates, said: “Our continued growth is allowing Eurofragance to accelerate its internationalization, improve productive and innovative capacity, develop faster improvement actions and train technical staff. These are essential to become a world leader in flavors and fragrances.”

The Eurofragance workforce is forecast to grow this year in Spain by 28% up to a total of 166 people. Eurofragance is present in four continents and currently has subsidiaries in Turkey, the Philippines, Mexico and Dubai.
