Fragrance design company Eurofragance has bough a new robot for almost €1m, which it hopes will double the productivity of its automated area.
The Colibri Robot will opearate in the company's production plant in Rubí and is said to be four times more productive than Eurofragance's current machine. The robot is designed by Contexa, a Swiss engineering company, and is equipped with 450 syringes to dispense exact doses of raw materials as well as controlling the density, volume and temperature of ingredients.
