The New York-led beauty brand owner has promoted veteran Sue Fox to the top spot

Estée Lauder Companies (ELC) veteran Sue Fox has been promoted to President of the UK and Ireland.

During her 26 tenure with the maker of MAC, La Mer and Too Faced, Fox was previously General Manager of Japan, Managing Director of South Africa and most recently Senior Vice President and General Manager, UK and Ireland.

Cedric Prouvé, Group President International of ELC, said that Fox was "instrumental" in establishing the New York-led brand owner's omnichannel strategy in the region.

"An authentic, energetic and inclusive leader, Sue is driven by culture and values as much as results," he continued.

"I know that her expertise and strategic focus will continue to empower the UK and Ireland region to deliver outstanding success.”

Fox has been attributed to boosting ELC's CSR strategies, including its inclusion and diversity initiatives by establishing a governance structure and donating 170,000 hand sanitisers to charity partners and key workers in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.
