Spanish department store chain El Corte Inglés has worked with Maesa on the design and development of its first own brand beauty product ranges, launching this month.

“The time has come to further strengthen our selections with high quality, chic and original products which are easily affordable in terms of their pricing,” said El Corte Inglés. “The Maesa Group has successfully provided us with the concepts and products which will meet this need".

Maesa is developing four ranges of beauty products covering bath, body care, skin care, toiletries and home fragrance products to include 100 units. The ranges will be distributed through the store’s 89 points of sale across Spain and Portugal.

Julien Saada, Maesa's chairman and cofounder commented: "We are delighted to now count El Corte Inglés among our clients. By creating 100 listings across four different ranges, we have successfully met a challenge in terms of both design and production. This contract, establishing Maesa over the medium-term as the partner for developing El Corte Inglés' own brands for beauty products, is also in line with our strategy to focus on key accounts".
