Trade show organiser Easyfairs is set to host a weekly Twitter discussion for the packaging industry.


Trade show organiser Easyfairs is set to host a weekly Twitter discussion for the packaging industry.  Held every Wednesday from 1pm to 2pm, Twitter users can join the conversation at #PACKCHAT to discuss the latest packaging issues and industry news.

Each week, there will be a new theme to guide conversation, although users are free to nominate their own questions and ideas.

The first #PACKCHAT is scheduled to take place on 5 December, with followers set to discuss "Why has packaging got such a bad rep?" as the inaugural topic.

"#PACKCHAT is a great way for all those involved in packaging to catch-up on the latest industry news, discuss recent changes, hear about the latest packaging innovations and express their views on the packaging issues that matter to them," said Alison Church, event director for Easyfairs Packaging.
