Douglas appoints new CFO

Dennis Schulze to succeed Burkhard Bamberger

German perfumery chain Douglas has named Dennis Schulze as Chief Financial Officer. He succeeds Burkhard Bamberger, and joins the company’s management board alongside Henning Kreke, Douglas President and CEO, Manfred Kroneder, head of the Perfumeries Division, Michael Busch, head of Books, and Nicholas Denissen, head of E-Commerce.

Previously, Schulze worked at private equity firm Carlyle Group, managing its operations in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

“I am very happy to welcome Dr. Schulze, an outstanding expert in his field, as the new CFO. We are convinced that his expertise and his extensive experience will contribute significantly to the successful development of our company,” said Jörn Kreke, Chairman of Douglas’s Supervisory Board.
