Said to be a highly effective, stable and easy to formulate whitening peptide

After five years of research, skin care ingredients specialist Corum has launched its latest innovation named GenoWhite. The new active is said to be a highly effective, stable and easy to formulate whitening peptide.

GenoWhite inhibits melanosome formation by interfering with the key enzymes (TRP-1: -42.1%; TRP-2: -91.9%; and tyrosinase: -36.5%) and the key regulator (MITF: -39%) in the melanogenesis pathway. It also down-regulates melanin synthesis by decreasing the activities of TRP-1, TRP-2 and tyrosinase.

According to the company’s tests, GenoWhite has an ex vivo whitening efficacy (existing melanin level: -30%) in nine days and spot-brightening activity (51.67% age spot reduction) in 14 days.
