The US FDA is warning consumers to be vigilant of hand sanitisers packaged in what appears to be food or drink pouches and bottles.

The regulatory watchdog issued a red alert after discovering that alcohol-based hand hygiene products, used to combat the spread of Covid-19, were being accidentally ingested by confused consumers.
