Chanel Beauty has revealed that its 2019 Holiday collection is inspired by the decor of its founder’s apartment.

According to the brand, Gabrielle Chanel’s home was adorned with Chinese coromandel screens and decorated in gold leaf, which is reflected in the collection’s colour scheme.

The range includes the brand’s staple Rouge Allure in six new shades, two Rouge Coco Glosses, two nail polishes, a khaki eye pencil, two eyeshadow colours in gold and deep purple, a four-shade palette and Éclat Magnétique de Chanel highlighter (from £22).

Lucia Pica, Chanel’s Global Creative Make-up and Colour Director, is said to have envisioned a ‘contemporary contrast between indulgent splendour and refined minimalism’ for the collection with a bold smoky eye or glossy lip against a fresh complexion.

Customers will be able to shop the range from 15 November.
