Clariant is due to open its first global Competence Center Haircare in early 2017.

The centre will act as a hub for global innovation projects and will house a team of Clariant hair care professionals, application and formulation labs and a meeting space over 240sqm.

Located in Santo Amaro in Sao Paulo, Christian Vang, Head of Business Unit Industrial & Consumer Specialties at Clariant, said the opening is an “exciting step” for the company in terms of growing partnerships and staying abreast of regional trends.

He said: "Brazil is a vibrant place to be and we are looking forward to extending the network we have already established with local partners, universitites and institutes, so that we can power our hair care innovation to meet the trends and needs of customers and consumers both here and around the world.”
