Chilean multinational department store Falabella is to spend $4.36bn on retail expansion plans.

The retail conglomerate – which is owned by S.A.C.I. Falabella – said in a statement that it will be opening 140 stores and 11 shopping centres over the next three years in key South American markets such as Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Peru and Uruguay.
