Regulators participating in the International Cooperation on Cosmetics Regulation (ICCR) met in Ottawa, Canada for their annual meeting (8-10 July) to discuss how member countries could better harmonise regulatory requirements and standards, promoting trade, among their cosmetics and personal care industries. Cosmetic News Weekly interviewed Darren Praznik, President and CEO of the Canadian Cosmetic, Toiletry and Fragrance Association about the ICCR discussions and some of the challenges for regulatory harmonisation.
