70% of the products' glass handles are said to be made from recycled beer bottles

Male grooming brand Bulldog has brewed new life into its razor collection with a debut glass razor.

Said to be made from at least 70% recycled glass, and fully recyclable, the new Glass Razors are available in both the Edgewell-owned brand’s Original and Sensitive line (£15).

Bulldog’s Sensitive razor first launched in May this year and features a lubrication strip enriched with bamboo oil to help soothe skin.

Each razor also comes with a recyclable metal stand.

“For too long, the shaving industry has focused thoughtlessly on making razors sharper and easier to order online. We don’t think that’s enough,” said Bulldog’s General Manager Caroline Mallet.

“That’s why we’re continuing to challenge the category with the launch of our new Original and Sensitive Glass Razors.

“Recycled glass, a lot less plastic and a quality shave.”

Bulldog’s eco-friendly ethos has been at the forefront since entering the shaving category in 2018.

The brand’s first-ever razor was developed with a water-resistant, natural bamboo handle, in an attempt to reduce plastic waste.

Meanwhile, further boosting the new product’s eco credentials, the razors are housed in recycled card.

Consumers can shop the range exclusively at Boots across the UK.
