Fragrance house CPL Aromas has announced the purchase of Spanish manufacturer dM fragrances in a strategic move to shore up its fragrance production capabilities in the EU post Brexit.

The acquisition of the Barcelona-based supplier will provide CPL Aromas with a full service operation, including production, creative perfumery and product performance, as well as sales, marketing and evaluation facilities, ensuring it has production facilities within the European Union (EU) after the UK leaves the EU in March next year.

It will also provide additional sales to the Middle East and Africa, where dM has a strong presence.
