Brand will support organisation’s work in the Democratic Republic of Congo

Curly hair care brand Bouclème has partnered with grassroots non-profit organisation Malaika to help support its work in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The brand will donate 20p from every sale of its Revive 5 Hair Oil to the charity, which was founded by the model Noella Coursaris Musunka to improve access to education, clean water and healthcare in the village of Kalebuka.

“The work [Noella] is doing in her home country of the Democratic Republic of Congo is truly inspiring,” said Bouclème founder, Michele Scott-Lynch.

“By making a positive contribution to the lives of young students, Noella is empowering the next generation of Congolese youth and their wider communities through education.

“This is a long term commitment, the girls of today will become the women of tomorrow and it’s important to build and develop a positive future for generations to come”
