Pudsey Bear, the endearingly threadbare mascot for BBC Children In Need, is currently gracing the front of a Boots bubble bath as part of a fundraising initiative by Boots Contract Manufacturing’s (BCM) purchasing department.

“BCM regularly supports the BBC Children In Need Appeal and this year decided to make an extra special effort by asking each department to come up with their own ideas to generate money,” commented a BCM spokesperson. In addition to the bubble bath, the purchasing department held a quiz to raise money for the appeal.

The limited edition bottles, available from BCM’s reception and purchasing department, are produced on site in Nottingham and feature labels designed by Chesapeake Labels.

“We were very keen to help support BCM with its initiative for Children In Need,” added Bruce Reynolds, operations director at Chesapeake Wrexham, where the label was printed. “A real team effort culminating in digitally printing the label ensured it was produced quickly and to a high standard which everyone agreed was excellent.”
