As consumers miss their manicure treatments and salon visits, they have been turning to Nails Inc for help

Business is booming for Nails Inc, the British manicure brand, during lockdown.

The London-led brand specialises in premium nail polishes and has 60 nail bars including treatment spaces in Selfridges and Harvey Nichols.

Nails Inc has seen sales surge throughout the eight week lockdown period. The brand reported an increase of 300% in both the UK and US markets, compared to last year, at nailsinc.com.

Nail polish sales have increased by 150% globally and hand and foot masks have grown by 100% in the US.

With salons remaining closed, the product with the largest increase in sales has been the brand’s Gel-Less Remover Pot.

The product remover saw global sales increase by 2000% as frustrated consumers turn to removing their gel nails at home.

"During lockdown we have also seen a 200% hike in trending summer colour sales as customers opt for bolder nail colour," the brand told Cosmetics Business.

"Customers are opting for bright bold colours while working from home, as they are generally wearing less make up and are being more experimental with pops of colour on their nails."
