I am working with an exciting company that is looking for a major role where you will be the link between R&D and the team here.
You will work in collaboration with the NPD team, Innovation and Development and Regulatory/Compliance teams across colour cosmetics.
You will be involved in Product Development from concept to launch and contribute to the NPD brief from a technical perspective.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and design of new cosmetic formulations and products working hand in hand with formulation supplier
- Be involved in product development from concept to launch, providing technical insights to NPD and Marketing teams, contributing to the NPD brief from a technical perspective
- Work in collaboration with suppliers on INCI listing, pack copy, claims and testing data approval
- Helping marketing understand new formulations and bring industry insight to develop NPD
- Testing formulations vs comp and benchmarks, to help marketing understand the performance
- Proactively raise and deal with NPD issues within the team to ensure minimal impact to the business such as potential ingredient issues or finished product queries
- Keeping up to date with EU/UK cosmetic regulations and regulatory changes
- Collating Product Information Files & ensuring ongoing compliance of existing products
- Registering of new products under the EU Cosmetic Product Notification Portal (CPNP) and the SCPNP portal for UK
- Strong project management skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of EU/UK Cosmetic regulations
