Baylis & Harding to open boutique hotel in Cotswolds
Aims to provide an anchor for the brand
Bath and body care brand Baylis & Harding are to open a boutique hotel in the north Cotswolds on the Queen’s birthday in mid-June.
The hotel, The Fuzzy Duck, which is located in the hamlet of Armscote, aims to anchor and embody the Baylis & Harding brand, and will feature its products. Brother and sister team Adrian Slater, MD, and Tania Fossey, Creative Director, who took over the Baylis & Harding family business 15 years ago, are overseeing the project and said that they are exploring the possibility of offering self-servicing spa options at the hotel. Slater added: “The hotel is a way for us to anchor the Baylis & Harding brand because on the shop floor it’s very hard to convey what the brand is actually about.”
