Luxury department store chain Barneys has announced its plans to open a dedicated cannabis lifestyle and wellness shop.
The ‘The High End’ store is set to open on the fifth floor of the retailer’s Beverly Hills flagship in March.
It will also run an exclusive partnership with cannabis vaporiser company, Beboe.
On offer will be a range of wellness products across beauty, home and jewellery, and items especially designed for The High End, including rolling papers from Devambez, horn lighters from Lorenzi Milano and leather ashtrays from Giobagnara among others.
“Barneys New York has always been at the forefront of shifts in culture and lifestyle, and cannabis is no exception,” said Barneys New York CEO Daniella Vitale.
She continued: “Many of our customers have made cannabis a part of their lifestyle and The High End caters to their needs with extraordinary products and service they experience in every facet of Barneys New York.”
For relaxation and calming benefits there will be a variety of CBD-infused beauty and scented products available, from Saint Jane, Foria and Lab to Beauty.
Beboe’s co-founder Scott Campbell added: “I’m so thrilled that cannabis culture has come so far that it can exist and feel perfectly at home in such a prestigious context as Barneys New York.
“Barneys has never been shy about pushing boundaries in retail, and it makes perfect sense that they would be the first to support and elevate cannabis to new levels.”
Beboe representatives will also be on hand to discuss products with shoppers across the concession.
