LG Household & Health Care announces plans for cross-brand partnerships including Avon x The Face Shop

New Avon is set to collaborate with its new sister K-beauty brands under the ownership of LG Household & Health Care.

LG revealed that later this year Avon will collaborate with The Face Shop to launch Avon x The Face Shop, a collection of skin care and make-up products.

The range will include some new formats for Avon, including K-beauty style cushion foundations, highlighters and blushes.

A tie-in is also in the pipeline with LG’s hair brand Chi.

Avon x Chi is slated to roll out three new hair care products made from a blend of organic botanicals including aloe vera, pomegranate and hibiscus.

Evy deAngelis, Head of Sales Enablement for New Avon, said: “Under the new ownership of LG H&H, known for its pre-eminence in technology and innovation, we're able to offer our consumers and representatives an unparalleled slate of new initiatives and product offerings."

New Avon, the US arm of the direct selling beauty giant previously known as Avon North America, was acquired by LG in April this year for US$125m.

LG, the South Korean consumer goods business, also owns skin care brands The Face Shop, Whoo, su:m, belif and Philosophy, as well as hair care brand Chi.
