The collection of 13 products is said to include everything Armstrong would use when doing her own make-up

Direct-selling beauty favourite Avon has created a brand new cosmetics line with make-up artist Lisa Armstrong.

Described as a ‘one stop’ make-up brand, the collection comprises products Armstrong is said to use to do her own make-up, including foundations and powders, as well as lip and eye products.

With 13 skus in total, the products can be used to create a variety of looks in a short time, according to Avon.

Personal touches relating to Armstrong have also been used throughout with each of the 12 lip liners named after a girlfriend.

Speaking about the collection, she said there are no hard and fast rules on how to use the products.

“I’m never going to say ‘you have to do this and buy that and apply them in this order [...]’, as far as I’m concerned, you can use a sponge, a brush, fingers, there’s no right or wrong way.

“The point is that you can wear any of my collection, it’s all so easy, flattering and wearable.

“And if you’re not sure what to go for, there are loads of ways you can get advice from me, from the videos we’ve made to the tips and tricks I’ve shared with Avon reps too.”

Avon has described the products’ packaging as ‘feminine, but grown-up’ in a cool pink shade with metallic highlights.

Armstrong also commented on the new line’s authenticity.

“There’s no trickery or fakery here. It’s my signature on the packaging, it’s my work on the models in the pictures and it’s my take on what great products should look and feel like.”

The products are available exclusively at avon.uk.com.
