Avon appoints former P&G boss to lead digital transformation

Karen McElhatton joins the cosmetics group from McLaren and brings with her 18 years’ experience in improving digital

Avon has appointed a former Director at P&G to lead its technology team.

Karen McElhatton will support the group’s executive team as Chief Technology Officer, working on Avon’s digital overhaul.

Bringing 18 years’ experience in improving digital consumer experience and launching e-commerce platforms, McElhatton joins the company from McLaren Group where she served as Group Chief Information Officer.

“I am thrilled to be joining Avon at such a pivotal moment,” said McElhatton.

“With a clear strategy and desire to accelerate a digital transformation, we can continue to elevate the experience for Representatives, consumers and employees.
