Art & Fragrance quadruples group profit during past year
Profit now stands at CHF8.3m
Art & Fragrance has announced that it has impressively quadrupled its group profit to CHF8.3m during the past year. Despite unfavourable currency developments, the company achieved a very good result, mainly in the perfume side of its business but also in the cystal and jewellery side of the business.
When it came to the fragrance side of things, even though revenues declined by 3% to CHF50.9m as a result of currency movements, the company succeeded in boosting its EBIT by 75% to CHF10.9m and the EBIT margin rose to a solid 21%.
