Lalique maker secures key element in value chain

Swiss luxury goods group Art & Fragrance (A&F) has acquired France based Cosmetics Perfumes Services SAS (CPS). Financial terms of the transaction, which includes shares in the filling and logistics company, have not been disclosed.

CPS was founded in 2005 and specialises in the preparation, filling and packaging of perfumes and cosmetics. The company’s customers include Lalique Parfums and Jaguar Fragrances, which are both owned by Art & Fragrance.

Commenting on the acquisition, Roger von der Weid, CEO of Art & Fragrance said: “By in-sourcing the production and logistics for our perfume brands, we are controlling and securing a key element in our value chain. This is an important strategic advantage in light of our now significant perfume volume. We also expect savings in our production and logistics costs in the medium term.”
