The plastic-free brand is aiming to raise £800,000 to expand into the US and develop a new product line.
AKT is the brainchild of theatre actors Andy Coxon and Ed Currie, who met in 2015 while rehearsing for Beautiful: The Carole King Musical in London’s West End.
The brand’s tagline is: ‘Born to perform – on the stage, at work or in life’.
