The Strictly Come Dancing star will front brand activations and appearances for the retailer as it celebrates its 30th anniversary
The Perfume Shop has tapped UK TV presenter AJ Odudu as its first ever celebrity brand ambassador.
Celebrating the A.S. Watson-owned retailer's 30th birthday, the Strictly Come Dancing star will engage in a range of brand activations and appearances throughout the year.
“I’m so excited to be working with The Perfume Shop for their 30th year,” said Odudu.
“It’s a brand I’ve long had a love of, from Saturday shopping with friends as a teenager to my sister working in the Blackburn branch when she was younger, so it seems like the right fit to now have come full circle and be working with them!”
More from The Perfume Shop:
“When it came to choosing a face to work with for our 30th birthday year, AJ was always top of our list,” added Gill Smith, Managing Director of The Perfume Shop.
“With her infectious personality and fantastic style, we think she’s the perfect fit for the brand at such an important moment in our history.”
Born Onatejiro Odudu, the 34-year-old rose to fame presenting reality TV spinoff Big Brother's Bit On the Side in 2013 and went on to host Married At First Sight: Afters in 2021.
Most recently, she appeared in the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing last year, where she alongside professional partner Kai Widdrington made it to the final stage of the competition, but was forced to withdraw after injuring her ankle.
No stranger to beauty partnerships, Odudu has previously worked with L’Oréal Paris in 2016 for its True Match Foundation campaign, and also appeared on the French beauty giant's 'My Self-Worth' podcast in 2019 to help tackle self-doubt, alongside actress Helen Mirren and professional diver Tom Daley.
