2013 a good year for LVMH in beauty divisions

Successful year for the luxury products group


LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton reported revenue of €29.1bn in 2013: a growth of 4% over the previous year.

The world's leading luxury products group recorded organic revenue growth at 8% overall - as it maintained a steady drive in the US and Asia and continued to grow in Europe - solidifying fourth quarter performance as in line with the trends seen in the first nine months of the year.

Perfumes and cosmetics profited €414m – a 2% growth on the previous year's figures. The division saw an organic revenue growth of 7%.

Parfums Christian Dior continued momentum and increased its market share, while other strong lines were J'adore, Dior Homme, Rouge Dior and Prestige. Guerlain continued to grow, led by its fragrance La Petite Robe Noire and skin care line Orchidée Impériale. Benefit continued its strong growth while Make up Forever and Fresh both performed well in Asia.
