Science-backed skin health tracking app, Skin Trust Club has partnered with renowned dermatologist, Dr Tiina Meder of Meder Beauty.

The partnership combines the Skin Trust Club’s extensive skin microbiome database with Dr Tiina Meder’s skincare expertise to enable consumers worldwide to have access to the highest quality skincare advice available.

The first dermatologist-led brand to join forces with the company, Meder Beauty focuses on creating products that are truly inclusive and fully support skin microbiome health, with a skincare range that is cruelty-free and sustainable.

Skin Trust Club, which launched in 2021 enables users to understand their skin microbiome based on innovative lab testing from an individual swab via a home test kit. Once the data is analysed, the health tracking app updates in real-time and identifies skincare products that suit the subscribers unique skin microbiome. The organisation is powered by Labskin (part of Deepverge PLC), a world leading platform that has been producing lab grown human skin for over 15 years and using it to test cosmetic and skin health products for the world’s leading cosmetic brands.

Meder Beauty will be one of over 20 brands that are currently on the Skin Trust Club platform but in addition will be the first brand partner to develop the Dermatologist platform that offers their patients a tool to help monitor their skin health. Skin Trust Club acquires expert insight into a consumer's personal skin microbiome and recommends the appropriate products to suit that person’s skin. This scientific vision of skincare allows for each of Meder Beauty’s products to achieve maximum impact on the skin and microbiome using only safe ingredients with scientifically confirmed effects to deliver visible results for all types of skin problems.

Niamh O’Kennedy, Group Marketing Officer at Skin Trust Club commented: “We’re really excited to partner with Dr Tiina Meder from Meder Beauty. Bringing a Dermatologist onboard was always the next stage of our development, and we see Skin Trust Club as a patient monitoring tool that helps Dermatologists manage their patients' skin conditions. Meder Beauty will have access to the largest microbiome database in the world, with the ability to compare their patients with others who suffer from similar skin issues.”

Dr Tiina Meder stated: “Our skin is an ecosystem consisting of human cells and billions of live microorganisms. Our approach is to develop skincare which is good both for the skin and for our micro friends. This partnership with Skin Trust Club will enable us to reach more people across the world with more intricate and diverse skin issues and offer bespoke treatments and home care products to help deliver viable results for even severe skin problems.”
