Neal’s Yard Remedies extending its in-store recycling scheme to cover all its stores in the UK.
The initiative will launch to mark World Oceans Day on 8 June and will enable consumers to bring beauty packaging, including hard to recycle items such as sample sachets, superfood pouches, facial wipe packages, pumps and atomisers, from any brand into store to be recycled.
For a limited time, from 8 June to 2 July, customers will also receive 10% off their purchase when returning these items.
The brand has invested heavily in sustainable packaging initiatives in recent years, banning the use of plastic microbeads, introducing water refill stations in stores and encouraging suppliers to sign up to industry best practise for plastic production.
