JD Lusteris is described as a multifunctional emollient with a supreme sensorial effect

Jojoba Desert has supported the launch of its latest ingredient, JD Lusteris, with studies proving its protective and moisturising benefits.

The new hair care ingredient is a multifunctional emollient that acts as a non-volatile, low viscosity silicone alternative, for a healthy, shiny look.

In a series of clinical studies involving volunteers in a control group who applied hair serums without JD Lusteris and an experimental group using hair serums infused with the ingredient, the results showed JD Lusteris provided excellent conditioning effect in dry and wet combing force measurement; up to 80% decrease in hair breakage; and significant long-lasting hydration benefits to the hair and scalp.

“Because our hair is exposed to so many harmful factors on a daily basis, it was imperative to find a solution that could restore hair back to its optimum state,” said Lee Reuveni, CEO, Jojoba Desert.

“JD Lusteris expresses simplicity in its best form, leading to durable hair and scalp moisturisation, hair protection and a long-lasting conditioning effect.”

The additive is suitable for use across products including shampoos and conditioners, as well as serums and balms.
