1. Ichimaru Pharcos, HyaluGuard

Ichimaru Pharcos has launched HyaluGuard, a new cosmetic ingredient that inhibits the hyaluronic acid (HA) cleavage enzyme HYBID for firmer skin.

Dermal HA helps to maintain extracellular matrix (ECM) structure effectively. Low skin HA, meanwhile, is associated with ageing, and correlates with sagging skin and wrinkle depth.

Ichimaru Pharcos’ HyaluGuard is an extract of Artemisia capillaris flowers which inhibits the expression of HYBID in fibroblasts, thereby reducing skin sagging and the appearance of wrinkles.
