Hundreds of cosmetics aimed at children and babies may contain a 'likely carcinogen', according to US research and advocacy group EWG.

In a blog post, the group claimed that 1,4-dioxane – a byproduct that can form in trace amounts during the manufacturing process – could be present in more than 200 personal care products marketed to youngsters.
