Frutarom enters Asian ‘beauty from within’ market

Published: 30-Jul-2018

Frutarom (now part of IFF) has made its move on the Asian beauty from within market with a tomato powder-derived product called PhytoflORAL. The ingredient, which became part of Frutarom’s portfolio following the company’s acquisition of fellow Israeli supplier IBR, is made from non-GMO tomatoes that are rich in the colourless carotenoids phytoene and phytofluene.

PhytoflORAL helps protect against oxidative damage and sun exposure, and possesses skin brightening and evening properties, as it inhibits melanin synthesis and reduces inflammation.

The natural powder can be used in multiple applications including capsules, chewable tablets, drinks and pre-mix sachets.
