The digital department store plans to launch new boxes quarterly, containing ‘curated’ full-size hair, skin and make-up products

Freemans has launched its first-ever beauty box after revealing the company’s beauty sales have soared 33% in the past five months.

The digital department store is set to make the most of its massive growth in the category by debuting a new box every quarter, “curating the best buys of the season,” said a spokesperson for the brand.

The company’s first beauty box – the £55 Summer Edition – comprises seven full-size skin care, hair and make-up products, alongside travel and sample sizes.

Sun Bum’s 3 in 1 Leave in Conditioner, Diego Dalla Palma’s MyToyBoy Extra Volume Mascara and Nail Kind’s Ohh My Orange Natural Vegan Nail Polish are among the items, worth more than £150.

Freemans is rewarding customers who buy the boxes with a bounce back offer to continue to encourage repeat beauty orders.

“Our new summer beauty box has been specially designed to contain all you need to get your glow on all summer long,” commented Michelle Fox, Freemans’ Beauty Buyer.

“We are confident our beauty team’s picks will become customers’ new favourites and all at an affordable price.”

Freemans launched its beauty category in September 2021 as part of a complete digital transformation of the 118-year-old ex-catalogue brand.

Its beauty offering now spans 2,500 lines.

The Bradford-based company serves more than a million customers annually.
