Farah Naz, the biochemist founder of EX1 Cosmetics, a dedicated beauty brand for people with olive skins, has reinvented the way that the beauty industry can classify skin tones.

Traditionally brands have used Thomas Fitzpatrick's skin scale that we know today, dubbed the Fitzpatrick scale.
