The conference programme of the inaugural Cosmetics Business Live event, being held at the Business Design Centre in London, on 17 and 18 October 2022, will see Simon Dipple, SVP of luxury packaging specialist BellaGiada, join a panel of two other industry experts to discuss the topic: ‘Making luxury sustainable’. The trio, which will include Lutfiye Ibrahim, sales and business development director at Opatra, and Eva Legarde, CEO and founder of Re-sources, will convene at 12pm in Room B at the event.

For Cosmetics Business, the multi-channel communication platform that provides content to a community of professionals who source, make and sell the latest cosmetics, fragrance and personal care products, the event will be the first physical Cosmetic Business Live show.

The content-lead exhibition aims to provide a platform for brand owners, manufacturers, suppliers and retailers to come together to discover the latest trends, share knowledge and grow their customer network.

In working with emerging and iconic luxury brands, BellaGiada advocates from the outset that sustainability by design is a key feature of the company’s methodology. To substantiate that rationale, BellaGiada has created a new sustainability brand called Reborn™ - the result of the expertise and knowledge gained by Simon Dipple and colleagues, in working with the latest developments in planet-friendly materials.

The Reborn range includes sustainable materials from world-class paper and board mills that pass the measure for reduced environmental impact. Starting with standard structural materials such as FSC® grey board, the range transitions through a large and comprehensive portfolio to super premium materials such as their exclusive 100% recycled leather, which is available in standard colours and finishes, as well as being able to be brand colour matched.

“I’m really looking forward to the live event and joining both Lutfiye and Eva for this important panel discussion,” said Dipple. “Brands are constantly looking for ways to improve the sustainable credentials of their luxury packaging; it has taken some time to get there, but I’m proud to say that BellaGiada can now create luxury and ultra-luxury presentation packaging for our customers that can be genuinely measured for its sustainable luxury. I will be delighted to share that positive journey in discussion at the event.”
