The British brand has added four seasoned beauty executives to its global team to grow and strengthen its position in America, Australia, France and Spain

GHD has appointed four new senior executives across its operations in America, Australia, France and Spain to strengthen its global leadership team.

The British hair tech brand said these executives are tasked with demonstrating GHD’s “excellence and innovation” and driving forward its “next chapter of success” across these global territories.

Thys Niermeyer, previously Managing Director of GHD Spain & Portugal, has been promoted to Managing Director of GHD North America.

Olivia Manjón, meanwhile, has been named GM of GHD Spain & Portugal.

Manjón is a L’Oréal veteran, having worked for the French beauty giant over a ten-year period in leadership positions including Director General of Lancôme.

Elena Zuykova has also been named Managing Director of GHD France.

Prior to this she was GM Europe & Middle East at British beauty brand Elemis.

Stephanie Leathers, previously an Industry Advisor for company Flagship, has been crowned Managing Director of GHD Australia & New Zealand.

“The appointment of our new global leadership team further cements GHD’s accelerated growth ambition across these international markets,” said Jeroen Temmerman, CEO at GHD.

“Since 2001, GHD has transformed the beauty tech industry with innovative styling tools and cutting-edge technology developed in our Research & Development Centre in Cambridge [UK].

“We are a British brand with a global footprint and we are committed to maintaining our status as a beauty tech leader across the world.”

2025 marks almost a quarter of a century since GHD’s inception.

The brand has plans to heighten its growth acceleration via cutting-edge technology, developed by scientists and product designers at GHD’s Research & Development Lab.

Temmerman has previously told Cosmetics Business his plan to ensure GHD remains a power player in the hair styling category, with ‘cutting the cord’ tech on the cards in the future.
